On a somewhat related note, did you know about the tech inspection on tuesday also? That was another instance of useful info that was more or less not dispersed. Not referring to you, but it is starting to sound like too many folks staffing the events were not comfortable stepping up and taking the authority to disseminate info to ppl that they didnt know, or again they simply didnt know themselves.
Had someone not been concerned about it getting out, it never would have reached the loudspeaker at the car show and thursday morning would have been a zoo at MSR with the inspectors all trying to get out on the track with their groups and get all the cars done that never got word of it.
I honestly wish I had known what the problem was friday morning, but at least the FL peeps will catch wind of this. And it is my understanding that the woman who will be heading up Ohio '08 is a fantastic coordinator/organizer. There's going to be alot to look forward to.
